In recent years, the Mac line has been busy because Apple has been putting out new chips. For the first time, we don’t have an Intel-based Mac on our list of the best Macs. This decision comes after Apple just released the Mac Studio and stopped making the 27-inch iMac. This means that Apple will only sell two Intel-based Macs from now on. Both the 2019 Mac Pro and the 2020 Intel-only Mac mini are not good choices because they are getting old and are likely to be replaced or taken off the market soon. Instead, we suggest other options, like the best MacBooks of the year and certain desktop models.
There are two main types of Mac products from Apple. The M2 MacBook Air and the 13-inch M2 MacBook Pro are the best MacBooks. The iMac, the Mac mini, and the Mac Studio are the best desktop computers. Our suggestions are based on a number of factors, which you can learn more about below. But as a general rule, we recommend choosing the newest model that fits your needs (laptop or desktop) and your budget. Then look at the best Mac accessories to complete your setup.

Which are The Best Mac you Can Buy
MacBook Air (M2, 2022)
Our favourite Macbook is also the 2022 MacBook Air. It is a great beast that is light and made with the latest Apple M2 SoC. The 13-inch MacBook Pro also has the Apple M2 (M2, 2022). The Apple M2 in the MacBook Air has a CPU with 8 cores, a GPU with up to 10 cores, and unified memory with up to 24GB.
There used to be very few differences between the 13-inch MacBook Pro and the MacBook Air. That’s no longer true, since the MacBook Air was updated a lot this time while the MacBook Pro wasn’t. It is the first iPhone to have a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina screen and a 1080p FaceTime HD camera. Also, like the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models that came before it, it has a MagSafe charging port. There are also four colours of the MacBook Air (M2, 2022): Space Gray, silver, Starlight, and Midnight.
When setting up your MacBook Air, you can choose between 8GB, 16GB, and 24GB of unified memory, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, or 2TB of storage, and either an 8-core or 10-core GPU. No matter what you say, the CPU has 8 cores.

24-inch M1 iMac (2021)
The iMac (2021) has a beautiful 24-inch 4.5K Retina screen, which is a big improvement over the 21.5-inch screen it replaced. You now get a resolution of 4480 x 2520 with 218 pixels per inch and support for one billion colours. It also has a brightness of up to 500 nits, Wide Color, and True Tone. It is also very thin—only 11.5mm—so it almost disappears from the sides. The new iMac from Apple has 50% less space than its predecessors. The power cable is now attached to the back of the screen by a strong magnet. The 2-meter cable is braided and very durable. Ethernet cables connect directly to the power adapter because the back is too thin to have an Ethernet port.
The new iMac has seven shiny dual-tone colours: blue, green, pink, silver, yellow, orange, and purple. This is a big change. But if you want the last three colours, you’ll have to choose between the mid-range and high-range models.
The front and bottom of the iMac are a light pastel colour, but the edges and back of the screen are darker (except for the silver option, which only has one shade). No matter which colourful iMac you choose, the splash of colour will get people’s attention at home or at the office. The Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse that come with these new iMacs are the same colour. You can also upgrade to a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID built in. This lets you use your fingerprint for biometrics and security on Apple’s desktop computer for the first time.
Apple’s main desktop computer no longer has an Intel processor. Instead, it has an M1 chip from Apple. This means that you get 8 cores, of which four are for performance and four are for efficiency. On the M1, the base model has a GPU with 7 cores, while the mid and high levels have GPUs with 8 cores. Those who want the base model will also only be able to choose the 256GB SSD, which can be changed to 512GB or 1TB. Mid-range and high-end models start with 256GB or 512GB SSDs and can be set up with 1TB or 2TB SSDs, but the price will go up a lot. Like the other M1 Macs, the iMac comes with 8GB of unified memory out of the box, but it can be set up to have as much as 16GB. Since the memory is already in the M1 chip, it can’t be set up any further.
Also, it looks like Apple is finally giving its computers better FaceTime HD cameras. The M1 iMac has an M1 image signal processor and a 1080p FaceTime HD camera (ISP). This means that you can get high-quality video and pictures even when there isn’t much light. The M1 ISP also reduces noise more, has a wider dynamic range, and has better auto exposure and white balance. You won’t have to watch grainy videos in those important work meetings any more. The iMac has three microphones that are as good as those in a studio, so calls and voice recordings will be clearer. This new microphone array is also set up to cut down on feedback and other sounds in the background. But if you want really good sound, you should probably still get one of the best USB microphones.
In terms of ports, the base-level iMac has two Thunderbolt/USB 4 ports and two USB 3 ports. The mid-level and high-level iMacs have two more USB 3 ports. DisplayPort, Thunderbolt 3 up to 40Gb/s, USB 4 up to 40Gb/s, and USB 3.1 Gen 2 up to 10Gb/s can all be used with the Thunderbolt/USB 4 ports. For Thunderbolt 2, HDMI, DVI, and VGA, you will need adapters, which are sold separately. The base model can be set up to have Gigabit Ethernet, but the mid-level and high-level models already have it built in.
This iMac has everything: bright colours, a super thin M1, a 24-inch 4.5K Retina display, and a new magnetic power cable.

Apple iMac Pro i7
Every year, Apple comes out with new and better iMacs. The new iMac Pro i7 4k is getting a lot of attention on the internet and among tech fans because it has great display options and features.
Apple also makes changes to its mice, keyboards, and options for how to show things. If you want to see what an Apple iMac can really do, you can get one from the enhanced series with a 21.5-inch screen and an optional 4k screen.
The 4k iMac has about 4.5 times the resolution of the Full HD model and the same number of pixels per inch as the 5k iMac. The specs on Apple’s platform are better and more useful. It also has its own CPU and Macs that are made of silicon.
The iMac Pro i7’s high-end, all-in-one design will never go out of style. It has a 5 mm thick edge that curves backwards a little bit. From a certain angle, it looks like it might be made of paper. Its top half is connected to a single-piece, curved stand by a hinge that can be moved.
Apple keeps changing its line of iMac computers in big and popular ways. A new 27-inch iMac will replace the iMac 5k, which has CPUs from Intel’s 10th generation. The most advanced models are the 3.3 GHz 6-Core 10th Gen Intel Core i5, the 3.8 GHz 8-Core 10th Gen Intel Core i7, and the 3.6 GHz 10-Core 10th Gen Intel Core i9.
The old 27-inch iMacs could only use storage devices that were out of date. Before, the fusion drive was a mix of a solid-state drive (SSD) and a mechanical hard disc (HDD). The 2020 27-inch iMac, on the other hand, came with new and improved SSDs that can hold up to 256 GB of data.
The iMac Pro i7 4k with a 27-inch screen comes with 8GB of RAM, and you can add up to 128GB more. It has an Intel processor from the 10th generation that can go as fast as 2933 MHz. The main problem is that Apple’s logic board can only handle speeds up to 2666MHz, even when 2933MHz RAM is attached.
