Then she went to Paris to study sculpture under the great Rodin. And she kept studying. After she finished her studies, she returned home and began to create. And then she kept creating. She traveled all over Europe and North America, trying to find the perfect subject to express what was inside her.

She was the first woman to become a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in 1928, and became the first woman to win the prestigious national competition for sculpture held every five years, in 1939.
