Where are the jobs for the hundreds of Literacy and Dyslexia Specialist teachers who were trained following the 2009 Rose review? Many of the people trained are in schools but not given the time to use their skills. I feel the jobs didn’t materialize so people like myself have to watch parents pay for the private hour-a-week intervention model instead of the “little and often” by specialists in school where it clearly needs to be delivered.
