Aspirants should be aware that there is no sectional cut in the SSC CHSL Tier I exam. Only applicants who have achieved the minimum qualification score will get shortlisted to the next stage of the test.

How to Calculate SSC CHSL Cut Off 2021?

The SSC CHSL Cutoff is the minimum score needed by an applicant to be qualified for the subsequent examination rounds. The Staff Selection Commission declares it after each stage of the exam.

Firstly, CHSL cutoff for tier I exam gets decided on the basis of marks obtained by aspirants in the paper. Candidates need to score at least 33 percent marks in the tier II exam to qualify for the next stage. The exam conducting authority does not publish the cut offs for SSC Tier III exam as it is qualifying in nature. Mentioned below are the ways to determine the cutoffs.

  • SSC CHSL Score 2021 (Tier I) = Marks obtained for each wrong reply after applying a negative mark of 0.50 marks for (general intelligence + English + Quantitative aptitude + awareness)
  • The final cut-off score of the applicants will get published based on the composite scores in Tier I, II, and III.
  • Candidates must achieve the following marks in each subject: General Intelligence, English, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Conscience.
