Let us differentiate the two programs to help students make an informed decision by essentially distinguishing between the two and removing the challenge to choose between BCA and B.Tech.

BCA Vs B.Tech – Know the Key Difference!

Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering is focused on building rigorous programming skills and developing new technologies using computing concepts and mathematical skills. Thus, in one sentence, the Computer Science Engineers develop ideas and test them.

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) is designed to build programming skills for developing efficient and resource optimized software / website / cloud / mobile applications. The course integrates fundamentals from the essential Mathematics, Physics, & Management by applying analytical thinking.

Thus, both the programs are fundamentally different regarding content, eligibility, and duration and in terms of the career avenues and the higher studies options.
