Changes in CLAT 2024
CLAT 2024 Exam Pattern has undergone a slight change. Instead of the previous 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), the exam will now consist of 120 MCQs. The CLAT syllabus for 2024 and the exam pattern have remained largely unchanged, with the exception of a reduced number of questions.

How to apply for CLAT 2024?
To apply for CLAT 2024, candidates can follow these steps:
- Registration: Visit the official website for CLAT 2024 and navigate to the registration page. Fill in the required details such as name, email address, and mobile number, and create a password. Complete the registration process to obtain your login credentials.
- Log in to the Account: Use your registered mobile number and password to log in to your CLAT 2024 account.

- Candidates who are appearing for the 12th final year exam or graduating final year exam can also apply for CLAT 2024.
CLAT 2024 Guidelines Released for PwD Candidates
Important Guidelines for Persons with Disabilities in CLAT 2024 Exam has been released by the Consortium of NLUs. Guidelines are listed below:
- Candidates who are considered ‘persons with benchmark disability as defined in Section 2(r) of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (the “Act”) and are appearing for CLAT 2024, are eligible for an additional 40 minutes of extra time (compensatory time)
- Candidates with benchmark disabilities will be provided a total of 2 hours and 40 minutes to complete the exam.
- A copy of the original Disability Certificate must be brought to the CLAT Test Center on the day of the test
- The facility of requesting a scribe/ reader is available to anyone
- A blind or visually impaired person with a benchmark disability (not less than 40%),
- The patient has locomotor disabilities (both arms affected-BA), as well as cerebral palsy.
