CTET 2022 Exam is ongoing from December 28, 2022 to February 07, 2023. It will be conducted on multiple dates. The list of the same has been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education. CTET exam will be held online at various exam centres across the country. The candidates appearing for the exam must check the detailed exam dates.
- December 2022- 28 and 29
- January 2023- 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, and 30
- February 2023- 01, 02, 03, 04, 06, and 07
CTET Admit Card is released on the official website a couple of days before the respective exam dates. It contains information about the candidates’ respective exam dates, exam centres, shift timings, personal details, and others. The candidates must check all the details mentioned in the admit card very carefully. In case of any discrepancy, they must contact the authorities at once.
It must be noted that CTET admit card needs to be downloaded from the official website. They will have to print it out and carry the hard copy to the exam centre. No admit card will be sent to the candidates by post or any other means. The steps to download it are given below.
Step 1: Go to the official website of the CTET exam.
Step 2: Click on the ‘CTET Admit Card’ tab
Step 3: Enter your Registration number and Password (date of birth)
Step 4: On successful submission, the PDF file of the admit card will open.
Step 5: Download and print your admit card for the day of the exam.
Along with the admit Card, the candidates also get a few set of instructions and guidelines for the day of CTET exam. They have to abide by them. In case of failure to follow them, the candidates can get disqualified from the exam. Following are some of the basic CTET exam-day instructions that the candidates must be aware of. These will help candidates avoid any unnecessary delays or issues before the exam.
- The candidates must carry all the important documents on the exam day of CTET 2022 to be allowed exam centre.
- They also need to carry hard copies of CTET admit card. It should have the right image and spelling. In case of any error in the name of candidates, exam, exam centre, and others, it must be reported to the authorities immediately.
- The candidates are advised that they reach the CTET exam centre at least an hour before the reporting time to avoid delays.
- They need to carry their personal transparent water bottles, masks, sanitiser, gloves, etc.
- They should not have any stationery items like books, calculators, scales, bits of paper, geometry/pencil boxes, and others.
- Gadgets and devices such as earphones, bluetooth devices, mobile phones, pagers, pen drives, cameras, health bands, etc. are banned.
- They must also not be carrying any accessories such as handbags, sunglasses, wristwatches, and others.
- Separate seats based on roll numbers will be allotted to each candidates. The candidates must check their respective seats as soon as they are allowed inside the exam room.
- Any candidate who reaches the exam centre after the reporting time will not be allowed inside.
- No candidates will be allowed to leave his or her seat until the exam is over. In case of any emergency, they will be required to have special permissions of the invigilator.
CTET exam is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education to test the eligibility of candidates for teaching Class 1-8 of KVS and NVS schools. The full form of the exam is Central Teacher Eligibility Test. It is held once a year and consists of two papers.
