The eReader or eAudio app is all saved for you right on your device and does not need to be uploaded to a computer. Downloading digital editions is done with mobile apps – you no longer need a computer to handle the formatting and downloading for the reader. That app lets you only play audiobooks and read eBooks that are in MP3 and ePub formats. 

Locate and read the list of compatible devices. To access OverDrive eMediaLib Downloads to download the OverDrive Media Console (free). Check this site out for further information.

Note: If you have the application already downloaded this app, use the Open OverDrive Desktop App option to open the OverDrive Media Console instead

Hunt the app store on your device for the OverDrive app, and then click on the “Install.” to get the OverDrive app.

Choose a mobile platform: 

iPhone, Android, Android, or Windows phone to download and install the OverDrive App. After that, go to the website and choose the platform for your particular device; choose OverDrive; then tick on the drop-down arrow and select iOS, Android, Windows Phone, or Windows 8 to install the OverDrive App.

When you are asked to install the program, you will be given one of the following two options:

If you have not signed up for an OverDrive account, complete the process and enter your details below:

 It enables you to read your eBooks on multiple devices with one passcode and keep bookmarks in sync across devices (so you don’t have to remember multiple passcodes for various devices). 

Be aware that a verification email will be sent to your email account, and please check your spam folder for it.

To activate the OverDrive Media Console, click on the “Open” in the OverDrive app.

A standard technique for quickly gaining access to e-Library services is to click on the “Get books” from the app’s home page, the icon in the top right corner. Then, tap the library of Manitoba. As a result, you’ll be taken to the website where you can browse for the product options.

There will be new books attached to the list. Tapping “Borrow” will then adds the book to your to-read list. This means that “Hold” is not available if you see the Place “Borrowing service item rather than “Place.” Place a reserve order if you like what you did the first time you place an order. Then, if you wish, you can get back to the search screen.

Please enter your information and your name in the fields below to proceed to your account page. Since you own the copyright that is reserved, the title is yours. 

The next step is to get it from the website.

When you log in to your account, you can complete the Download whenever you want. From then on, you’re able to start the Download whenever you’re in the book area. If necessary, select a format, and then select the “Download” to save the item. The book will begin to download as soon as you press Download Now. An EPUB-based e-only reading may not take very long, but listening to an audiobook can take a lot of time. to connect to wireless internet to save audiobook downloads

Once the book she app has been downloaded, tap on “Bookshelf.”
